Three day long Table Tennis Coaching Camp concludes

UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Three day long Table Tennis Coaching Camp concluded at Udhampur Table Tennis Academy (UTTA), here today.
In the camp, players learned new professional skills and techniques from Ravish Vaid, Table Tennis Coach from University of Jammu.
On the first two days of the camp, players learnt basics skills from the members of UTTA.
Around 60 players from every nook and corner of the district participated in the coaching camp.
On the concluding day, Balwant Singh Mankotia, ex-MLA Udhampur was the chief guest, while Ravish Vaid, Table Tennis Coach from University of Jammu was guest of honour.
Kumar Tarun, President, UTTA presented the welcome address and apprised the gathering about the motive behind to organize the camp.
Balwant Singh Mankotia motivated the players with his words. He also warned the Sports Council and concerned authorities to complete the pending construction of Indoor Sports Complex immediately which has already missed several deadlines. He also stressed upon the flooring of the complex. He appealed that complex must have wooden flooring of best quality and proper lighting system.
He added that UTTA is doing tremendous job for promoting the game in the district as well as in the State.
Among others present were Ankit Sharma, general secretary, UTTA, Sunny Sharma, vice president, Prikshit Khajuria, joint secretary, Tamanna Sharma, Vishal Bamotra, Harsh Tharmatt, Rajat Bandral, Nikher Jandyal, Manjeet Bhagat, Deepak Singh, Krishan Singh, etc.
