Sagar Sadhu guides SCC to register 37 runs win over WCC, enters next round

JAMMU, Aug 17: Magnifi-cent 46 runs off 42 balls by Sagar Sadhu helped Sharda Cricket Club (SCC) to register 37 runs win over White Cricket Club (WCC) and to enter in the next stage of the ongoing 1st Jammu Cricket Premier League Pink Ball Tournament, being organized by Krish Sports and Event at KC Sports Club, here today.
Batting first, SCC scored 107 runs by losing all wickets in 15 overs. Sagar Sadhu chipped in some magnificent shots and scored 46 runs in 42 balls, while Ave Kachroo made 11 runs.
From WCC side, Deepak proved his mettle and scalped 4 wickets, while Rohit Handoo claimed 2 wickets.
In the second inning, WCC failed to chase the target and collapsed at paltry 70 runs by losing all wickets in 16 overs. Ravi Pandita made 24 runs, while Rahul Tikoo scored 8 runs.
From SCC side, Rahul was the wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 3 wickets, while Vinod took 2 wickets.
Sagar Sadhu of Sharda Cricket Club (SCC) was adjudged as Man of the Match and was awarded by chief guest Ashok Singh and Sunil Kachroo.
The match was officiated by Rakesh and Faiz as umpires, while Rehan Rana maintained the scorecard.
The tournament is being played under the supervision of Sagar Sadhu, Rehan Rana and Ave Kachroo from Krish Sports and Event.
