JAMMU, Aug 19: Choudhary Bothu Ali of Sarore won the title of Kotli Mian Fateh Dangal, organized at the Shrine of Baba Bohri Waala at Village Kotli Mian Fateh, RS Pura.
Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) RS Pura, Dr Gagan Bhagat was the chief guest on the occasion. Renowned wrestlers from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and various parts of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the Dangal.
Choudhary Bothu Ali of Sarore (Bari Brahamana) was declared as winner while Soma from Jalandhar remained runner up.
Congratulating the winner, Dr Bhagat said that ‘Bothu’ is the inspiration for the youths of RS Pura and for whole State. He said that the facility of the professional sports coaching for wrestling and other sports is being provided at the Sardar Bana Singh Indoor Stadium at RS Pura so that the interested youths may save their time in traveling to Jammu.
Later Dr Gagan Bhagat was honored by the Dangal committee.
