JAMMU, Aug 19: J&K Prison Retired Employees Welfare Association has demanded immediate implementation of 7th Pay Commission recommendations in favour of the State pensioners and employees.
In a statement, president of the Association, Krishan Singh also highlighted other demands of the Prisons retired employees, which include enhancement of Medical allowance, payment of withheld DA, pertaining to period from 1-1-2009 to 30-06-2009 to pre-2006 pensioners, revision of welfare fund rules and holding convention of 3rd annual Prison meet at the earliest.
Mr Singh also sought meeting of deputation of the Association with DG Prisons to sort out outstanding issues of the retired employees.
