JAMMU, Aug 20: All casual and need based workers of Power Development Department have decided to go on Kaam Choro Hartal from August 22, 2016.
The workers under the banner of All Casual/ Need Based Workers Union would hold dharna in front of office of the Chief Engineer EM&RE Jammu in support of their long pending genuine demands.
Their main demands pertain to Release of salary from Wages Head; Regularization of workers; Insurance cover to workers; and Compensation in case of death or a worker getting handicapped.
