JAMMU, Aug 24: Players continued to vie for titles in the ongoing Inter-College Competitions in various disciplines, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu, here today.
In Kho-Kho (men), SPMR College of Commerce beat Government MAM College by 13-10 points, whereas in women section, PG Department thrashed GWC Gandhi Nagar and GDC Kathua lost to GWC Parade.
In Chess (women), GCW Gandhi Nagar team beat MIET by 3-1, PG Department, University of Jammu smashed GCW Kathua team by 3.5-0.5 points, GDC Kathua team got walkover and GCW Parade beat GDC Rajouri team by 4-0 points. In men section, MIET beat GDC Ramnagar team by 3-1 points, MAM College defeated GDC Udhampur team by 2.5-1.5 points, SPMR College team thrashed GDC Kathua team by 3-1 points, GDC Paloura got walkover and PG Department, University of Jammu beat SPMR College of Commerce by 3-1 points.
