JAMMU, Aug 24: A victim of road accident today succumbed to her injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, an old woman identified as Jaswant Kour (72) wife of Satnam Singh, a resident of Ward No 13, Kathua, was shifted here at GMCH on August 20 after she received serious injuries in a road mishap in Hatli area of Kathua.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 3.40 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
