Stadium XI smashes RN Chopra Cricket Academy, sails in next stage

JAMMU, Aug 25: Stadium XI smashed RN Chopra Cricket Academy and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing Bhatia Cricket League U-15, being organized by Bhatia Cricket Academy, Bishnah, at Cantt Cricket ground, Satwari, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Stadium XI made 138 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 25 overs. Kanhiya chipped in 38 runs with the help of 8 boundaries, while Chitra made 35 runs including four balls towards the fence and Aashim scored 9 runs.
From RN Chopra Cricket Academy side, Jatin, Abhay and Jugjap scalped 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, RN Chopra Cricket Academy failed to chase the target and bundled out at 85 runs by losing all wickets in 18.2 overs. Tushar made 19 runs including three balls towards the fence, Jugjap scored 16 runs including 2 boundaries and Abhay chipped in 12 runs.
From Stadium XI side, Abhinav scalped 3 wickets, while Dhruv and Chitra took 2 wickets each.
Chitra of Stadium XI was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Sachin Sadotra as umpires, while Vijay Dogra maintained the scoreboard.
