JAMMU, Aug 26: J&K Sports Council selected the jump rope team of Jammu and Kashmir, which will participate in the 13th Sub Junior National Jump Rope competition, to be held at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on August 28.
The screening of 13th Sub Junior National Jump Rope Team of J&K was conducted here today by the screening committee of J&K Sports Council which includes Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary, J&K State Sports Council and Ravi Singh, Sports Officer Jammu.
The selected players included Hanu Pawan Dev Manhas, Nikhil Kumar, Tanvir Singh Johal, Saraswati Sharma and Tanu Sharma. Bawa Ditta has been selected as coach of the team.
General Secretary of Jammu Rope Association Dr Seema Pawan Manhas was also present during screening process along with parents.
