JAMMU, Aug 27: Shiksha Niketan Higher Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar organized an inter house quiz competition.
Rameshwar Mengi, Principal of the school along with incharges of the School were present on the occasion.
The four houses namely Amar House, Gandhi House, Shanti House and Guru Nanak House participated enthusiastically under the supervision of incharge of the houses. There were four teams comprising of four participants each of class 5th only.
The host of the quiz was Arfan joined by co-host Karan. The quiz was based on the subject social studies and general awareness. The competition was held in 3 rounds. The questions were very judiciously prepared and the students performed extremely well in every round.
The first position was bagged by Guru Nanak House and the second position by Gandhi House.
In the end, Principal of the school also involved himself in the quiz and asked certain questions to the students to judge their knowledge. He also distributed the prizes among the winners.
