RN Chopra Academy registers 93 runs win over TCC, sails in next phase

JAMMU, Aug 27: RN Chopra Cricket Academy registered win over The Cricket Club (TCC) by a huge margin of 93 runs and sailed into the next phase of the ongoing Bhatia Cricket League Under-15, being organized by Bhatia Cricket Academy at Government High School, Satwari, here today.
Batting first, RN Chopra Cricket Academy made 166 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in stipulated 25 overs. Sachivansh was the top scorer with 45 runs off 35 balls including 5 boundaries, while Tushar Dhawan made 41 runs including five balls towards the fence and Arsh scored 27 runs.
From TCC side, Sammi Mohammad and Harish scalped 2 wickets each.
In the second inning, TCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 73 runs by losing all wickets in 22.1 overs. Aniket made 19 runs, while Sanjeet and Shabab scored 9 and 8 runs respectively.
From RN Chopra Cricket Academy side, Abhay was the pick of the bowler with 4 wickers, while Subhinay and Jatin scalped 2 wickets each.
Tushar Dhawan was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Govind and Sachin as umpires, while Vijay Dogra maintained the scorecard.
