BCC, GCC, ACC outplay rivals, enter in next stage

JAMMU, Aug 27: Bramh Cricket Club (BCC), Gopinath Cricket Club (GCC) and Achievers Cricket Club (ACC) outplayed rivals in their respective matches and entered into the next stage of the ongoing KC Cup Cricket Tournament, being played at KC Sports Club ground, here today.
In the first match of the day, Bramh Cricket Club smashed Bharat Cricket Club by 10 wickets. Batting first, Bharat Cricket Club scored 88 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Romil made 29 runs, while Imesh scored 10 runs.
From Bramh Cricket Club side, Rajesh scalped 3 wickets, while Sunny Parihar took 2 wickets and Sunny Bhan clinched one wicket.
In reply, Bramh Cricket Club chased the target in 7.1 overs without losing any wicket. Sunny Parihar was the top scorer with 45 runs, while Mohil made 35 runs.
Sunny Parihar of Bramh Cricket Club was adjudged as Man of the Match.
In the second match, Gopinath Cricket Club (GCC) registered win over Blood and Guts Cricket Club (BGCC) by 2 wickets.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, BGCC made 100 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Suri made 29 runs, while Ayush scored 20 runs.
From GCC side, Sunil took 3 wickets, while Sumit Dhar clinched 2 wickets and Surinder scalped one wicket.
In reply, GCC chased the target in 17 overs by losing 8 wickets. Surinder played splendid inning of 48 runs, while Sumit Dhar made 22 runs.
From BGCC side, Vishal scalped 3 wickets, while Suri took 2 wickets.
Surinder of GCC was declared as Man of the Match.
In the third match, Achievers Cricket Club (ACC) outclassed Whites Cricket Club (WCC) by 8 wickets.
Batting first, WCC made 11 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Rajesh Dutta made 34 runs, while Rahul chipped in 16 runs.
From ACC side, Rahul was wrecker-in-chief, who scalped 4 wickets, while Arjun took 2 wickets.
In the second inning, ACC chased the target in 14.1 overs by losing only 2 wickets. Naman Sharma smashed some crispy shots and made 70 runs off 38 balls including five boundaries and seven sixes, while King Ji made 21 runs.
From WCC side, Anil Chingari and Deepu took one wicket apiece.
Naman Sharma of ACC was adjudged as Man of the Match.
