Compensate tankers

Sir,
Despite assurance given by the State Government, tankers supplying food articles and oil to Kashmir and Ladakh regions continue to be constantly attacked by unruly mobs in the Valley.
Many tankers have been subjected to stone pelting causing damage to the vehicles and injuries  to drivers.
It has disturbed the procurement of essential items in the Valley and particularly in Ladakh division. It may be mentioned here that only two to three months remain before Zojila pass will get closed for further six months, and no stocking of essential items and fuel will take place. It will cause great inconvenience to the residents there. The people there have to stock almost every item of daily use during these few months. Besides the tankers owners, those injured in stone pelting should be duly compensated without any delay and proceedural hurdles.
The Government must ensure that these tankers are not harrassed any more.
Yours etc….
