JAMMU, Sept 3: Jammu and Kashmir Sports Power Lifting Association has selected J&K Bench-Press and Power Lifting team for Senior-National Bench-Press and Power Lifting Championship to be held at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand from September 7 to 11.
The team has been selected by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Power Lifting Association during State Men and Women Bench-Press and Power Lifting Championship held at RKM Gym, Upper-Gummat, Kanji House, here in the month of July.
The team has been selected by the Association on merit basis in the presence of Rajan Jain, General Secretary, Narender Singh Manhas, Secretary and Ayaz Ahmed Butt, President Doda Sports Power Lifting Association.
The selected players are Azim Sheikh, Shubham Aryan, Tamish Tabrez, Tarun Dev Singh, Aslam Choudhary, Vishal Singh Rakwal, Akhil Mehra, Waseem Raja, Mudassar Hussain, Dr Imran Mirza, Jagbir Singh Bhau, Raza Rabbani, Harsh Dev Singh, Shivam Gupta, Abhishek Sharma, Manraj Singh, Akash Pratap and Vickramjeet Singh.
Rajan Jain will accompany the team with Vickramjeet Singh and Jagbir Singh Bhau as officials.
