JAMMU, Sept 3: Twelve cueists-Vishal Abrol, Muqaddar, Gurjeev Singh, Rizwan, Pankaj Sharma, Nikhil Kohli, Nitish Sharma, Kunal Jamwal, Inderpal Singh, Takdeer Singh, Ishan Choudhary and Ishuk Chowdhary outplayed rivals and entered into the second round of the ongoing Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Assocation (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Vishal Abrol thrashed Aditya Sharma by 3-1, whereas in second match, Muqaddar beat Aman Sharma by straight 3-0 frames.
In the third match, Gurjeev Singh outclassed Gurvinder Singh by straight 3-0 frames, whereas in fourth game, Rizwan defeated Ansh Chopra by 3-1 frames.
Pankaj Sharma registered win over Aseem Ghai by 3-2 frames in the fifth game and Nikhil Kohli defeated Harjot Singh by 3-2 frames in the sixth match.
In the seventh match, Nitish Sharma smashed Mahipal Singh by straight 3-0 frames, whereas in the eighth game, Kunal Jamwal registered win over Varun Jamwal by straight 3-0 frames.
In the ninth match, Inderpal Singh registered win by 3-2 frames over Abhinant Mahajan, whereas in the tenth match, Takdeer Singh smashed Abhijot Singh by straight 3-0 frames.
Ishan Choudhary thrashed Abhinav Sharma by 3-2 frames in the eleventh match, whereas in the last and twelfth match of the day, Ishuk Chowdhary trounced Vicky by straight 3-0 frames.
