JAMMU, Sept 11: Royal Cricket Club (RCC) smashed Kongposh Cricket Club (KCC) by a huge margin of 136 runs in the inaugural tie of the 1st Coloured KP Cricket Tournament, which commenced today at KC Sports Club, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, RCC set a target of 205 runs in stipulated 20 overs. Shubam Bhat played a magnificent inning of 80 runs off 57 balls, while Amit chipped in 65 runs in 35 balls.
From KCC side, Vijay scalped 2 wickets.
In reply, KCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 69 runs by losing all wickets. Vijay and Anil made 22 and 15 runs respectively.
From RCC side, Harish took 4 wickets, while Bindru scalped 3 wickets and Rakesh took one wicket.
Shubam Bhat was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Madan and Sadiq as umpires, while Vineet Kak maintained the scoreboard.
The tournament, which is being organized by Oriental Cricket Club was inaugurated by Vineet Kak.
