Rupali of GCW Gandhi Nagar shines in Classical Dance

JAMMU, Sept 29: displaying agility, anticipation, class and skill, Rupali Arora from the Government College for Women (GCW), Gandhi Nagar, Jammu claimed first place in the Classical Dance (Solo) conducted by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu under the ongoing “Display Your Talent” 2012-13 at Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
Ambika Thusoo from The Law School, University of Jammu and Padma Dechan from Govt Women College, Parade bagged the  second and third place respectively.
VN Kohli, Anuradha Seth Kohli and Arti Mehta Mahajan were the experts in this event.
Prof Jasbir Singh, Chairman, Campus Cultural Committee and Prof NK Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare distributed the prizes amongst the winners.
Dr Suvidha Khanna, was the Teacher Incharge and read the Rules and Regulations for the event. The programme was compeered by Nitin Sharma.
Among others, Dr Sanjay Sharma, Vijay Atri, Dharampal Sharma, Assistant Registrar (SW), Nidhi Kaila Secretary, Students Cultural Council and Anshu Bala, Joint Secretary, SCC, were present.
The event was managed by Gurpal Singh, Kulbushan Thakur, Balwant Singh Slathia, S S Bhalla, Joginder Singh, Arun Kumar, Madan Lal, R P Singh, Ram Pal, Yash Pal and Satish Kumar.
