JAMMU, Sept 12: Inter School and District Level Competitions in the disciplines of Tug-of-War and Fencing, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports were played at different venues.
JAMMU: Inter School District Level Competition in the discipline of Tug-of-War for under-19 boys and girls concluded here at Green Field, Gandhi Nagar.
In girls category, GGHS Suhanjana beat GGHSS Rehari by straight 2-0 sets and in boys category, JK Police Public Miran Sahib smashed GHSS Mandal by 2-1 sets.
REASI: Divisional Level Inter District Fencing Championship entered second day, here today. In under-17 Epee (girls), Pihul Rajput of Reasi and Sakshi Verma of Jammu clinched first and second positions respectively, while the third and fourth positions were claimed by Vanshika of Reasi and Muskaan of Jammu.
In under-19 Epee (boys), Jasbir Singh of Reasi, Rohit Singh of Udhampur, Jatin of Jammu and Sainyam of Jammu bagged first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.
In under-17 Sabre (girls), Shivasni of Reasi, Simran Thakur of Reasi, Ayushi of Reasi and Bhumi of Jammu secured first, second, third and fourth positions respectively.
The final between Parshant Chib of Reasi and Saksham Gupta of Jammu in under-17 Foil, Mayank Kapoor and Vikas Verma of Reasi in under-17 Epee, Bharat Dogra of Reasi and Tanish of Jammu in under-14 Foil will be played on the concluding day.
