JAMMU, Sept 8: City Judge Jammu, M S Manhas today directed SSP Crime Branch Jammu to investigate the complaint regarding appointment in the office of Deputy Director Stores Procurement Department on the basis of fake educational certificate.
The complainant Melo Devi, wife of Nikka Ram of Hakkal village in a complaint before the City Judge Jammu submitted that one Sohan Lal, son of Lal Chand of Hakkal village has managed appointment in the office of Deputy Director Stores Procurement Department on the basis of a fake educational certificate.
After going through the complaint and hearing, Advocate Mohd Latief Malik, counsel for the complainant, City Judge M S Manhas observed, “the perusal of complaint reveals that serious allegations seem to be made out against the accused”, adding “the complainant has also placed on record documents which transpire that applicant has complied the provision of Section 154 (1) and Section 154 (3) CrPC”.
“The application prima facie shows that the allegations which are made against the accused are very serious in nature, which require proper investigation”, the court said.
Accordingly, SSP Crime Branch Jammu was directed to investigate the matter in terms of Section 156(3) CrPC.
