JAMMU, Sept 14: Magnif-icent all-round performance by Harman helped Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA) to smash Stadium XI by a margin of 14 runs in the keenly contest match and sail into the final of the ongoing under-15 Bhatia Cricket League, being organized by Bhatia Cricket Academy, Bishnah at Cantt Cricket ground, Satwari, here today.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, BCA set a target of 171 runs by losing 8 wickers in allotted 25 overs. Harman played a splendid inning of 75 runs off 50 balls including seven boundaries and two sixes, while Anil made 31 runs with the help of five boundaries and Rohit chipped in 16 runs.
From Stadium XI side, Aashim scalped 2 wickets, while Dhruv, Samadh and Karmanya took one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, Stadium XI failed to chase the target and bundled out at 157 runs by losing 8 wickets in stipulated 25 overs. Kanhaiya was the top scorer with 35 runs, while Suryansh and Samadh made 28 and 25 runs respectively.
From BCA side, Harman was the pick of the bowler, who scalped 3 wickers, while Kartik took 2 wickets and Gitansh clinched one wicket.
Harman of BCA was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all round performance.
The match was officiated by Vijay and Shivam as umpires, while Sahil maintained the scorecard.
