BHADERWAH, Sept 15: A man today allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at Sarna, about three kilometers from here.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Shabir Ahmed (37) son of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Sarna (Bhaderwah) allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence following which he was rushed to District Hospital, Bhaderwah, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
After conducting postmortem, the body of the man was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
