JAMMU, Sept 18: All Jammu and Kashmir Pensioners and Civil Society Association held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Ajit Singh Adyal.
During the meeting, various issues were discussed, which include implementation of 7th pay commissioner, full pension be allowed, time bound promotions, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month, introduction of medical insurance scheme, etc.
The speakers appealed to the Finance Minister Dr Haseeb Drabu to intervene and redress the issues at the earliest.
