JAMMU, Sept 18: NHPC Limited in collaboration with Rotary Club Jammu Tawi organized a blood donation camp in the office of NHPC Ltd at Narwal, here.
The blood donation camp was inaugurated by S Kalgaonkar, Executive Director, NHPC in presence of B R Chandan, President Rotary Club Jammu Tawi and Dr Vijay Sawhney, Professor and Head of Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College, Jammu.
Other members of Rotary Club were also present at the occasion. S Kalgaonkar thanked Medical fraternity and Rotary Club Jammu Tawi for collaborating with NHPC for the noble cause.
About 30 units of blood were donated by employee of NHPC, doctors and members of Rotary Club Jammu Tawi. Besides employees of NHPC, Doctors and staff of Rotary Club. S Kalgaonkar and S N Tiwari also donated blood.
