JAMMU, Sept 18: Dhammika Kai Jammu and Kashmir Karate Do Association organised Dhammika Kai Inter-School Karate Championship in association with Nat Manch at Chander Bagha School, Akhnoor, here today.
On the occasion, General Secretary of Press Club Jammu and Chairman Team Jammu, Zorawar Singh Jamwal was the chief guest, while President and Founder of Nat Manch, Tarun Sharma, Raman Gupta , Shilpa Mahajan and Fr Mohinder Messiare were the guests of honour. International Player Pallavi Sharma was the special guest.
Around 250 karatekas from various schools participated in the championship.
While speaking, Zorawar Singh Jamwal encouraged the participants and asked them to stay away from drugs.
Tarun Sharma and Pallavi Sharma also expressed their views.
The officials during the matches were Monika Umesh Rekhi, Ajay Gill, Rita Gill, Rupali Behal, Anil Kumar, Shabnam, Anup Singh, Tanisha Mahajan, Sahil Sambyal, Vikas Singh Charak, Amit Sharma and Sourav Mehra.
The Championship was held under the supervision of Umesh Rekhi, President Dhammika Kai J&K Karate Do Association.
