Surinder Club, Pamposh Club outplay opponents to enter next round

JAMMU, Sept 18: Surinder Cricket Club (SCC) and Pamposh Cricket Club (PCC) outplayed opponents in their respective league matches to enter into the next round of the ongoing 1st Coloured KP T-20 Cricket Cup, being played at KC School ground, here today.
In the first league match, SCC trounced Jhelum Cricket Club (JCC) by 3 wickets. Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JCC made 90 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in allotted 20 overs. Sunil Bhat chipped in 27 runs including two boundaries, while Sanjay Koul made 10 runs.
From SCC side, Rajesh, Sunny Bhan and Vijay scalped 2 wickets each.
In reply, SCC chased the target in 15.2 overs by losing 7 wickets. Rajesh was the highest scorer with 26 runs including one boundary and two sixes, while Deepak scored 17 runs with the help of two boundaries and one six and Anoop made 13 runs.
From JCC side, Sanjay and Rahul bowled well and took 3 wickets each.
Rajesh of SCC was adjudged as Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
In the second match, PCC crushed White Cricket Club (WCC) by 3 wickets.
Batting first, WCC made 130 runs by losing all wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Ravi chipped in 37 runs with the help of four boundaries, while Deepu made 25 runs including two boundaries and Rajesh Dutt scored 18 runs.
From PCC side, Vinod was the pick of the bowler, who scalped 3 wickets by giving 27 runs in his 4 overs spell, while Rajesh Raina and Rakesh took one wicket apiece.
In the second inning, PCC chased the target in 19 overs by losing 7 wickets. Sahil was the top scorer with 33 runs off 24 balls including five boundaries, while Rajat made 19 runs off 14 balls including one six and Rahul chipped in 17 runs in 12 balls including one boundary and one six.
From WCC side, Rohit Handoo scalped 3 wickets, while Sheru took one wicket.
Vinod of PCC was declared as Man of the Match.
The matches were officiated by Vikas, Sahil, Rajesh Verma and Sunny as umpires, while Sahil Bhat and Vijay maintained the scoreboards.
