UDHAMPUR, Sept 20: An elderly woman died while her three other family member sustained injuries when an Alto car, they were traveling in, was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Kud, here today.
The Alto car, bearing registration number JK02AP-8736, was on way from Kashmir to Jammu when it met with the accident.
Locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared 64 year old Hamidha Begam wife of Gulam Rasul of Dal Gate Kashmir. The injured were identified as Zaman Ali (42) son of Gulam Rasul, Parbina Begam (47) wife of Gulam Haidar and Sonia Jahira (13), daughter of Mohamed Arif.
