JAMMU, Sept 21: J&K State Cycling Association conducted Jammu District Cycling Championship at MA Stadium, here today.
Cyclists from several tehsils of Jammu District participated in the championship.
Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council was the chief guest on the occasion, while Rashid Choudhary, International Fencer and Member, J&K State Sports Council was the guest of honour.
Om Parkash Sharma, General Secretary, J&K Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra, Treasurer, J&K Cycling Association, Vikesh Kumar Sharma, National Cyclist and Organising Secretary, Jammu District Cycling Championship and Ajay Kumar, NIS Cycling Coach were also present on the occasion.
In Senior Men, Dharminder Singh, Sunil Kumar and Chitresh clinched first, second and third positions respectively, while in Junior Men, Aakershait Pathak, Suryaansh Sharma and Aashiq bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In Sub-Junior Men, Rohit Kumar, Vikas Sharma and Akash Bhat secured first, second and third positions respectively.
