JAMMU, Sept 23: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Talwara in coordination with the Dangal Committee of Dharmari conducted a ‘Wrestling Competition’ in the remote areas of Rajouri and Reasi districts with an aim to garner the interest of the youth.
A total of 40 wrestlers from 14 villages participated in the region. The competition conducted under Operation Sadbhavana, was witnessed with great enthusiasm by thousands of spectators from Dharmari and adjoining villages.
Cash awards and medals were awarded to winner and runner-up in the heavy weight, light weight and open category.
The Dangal Committee of Dharmari appealed to the local populace to continue to help the Army in maintaining peace and harmony in the region.
