UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: Shalu and Anju will lock horns with each other in the final match played tomorrow under Junior Girls category, as they won their respective semi-final matches played today.
Shalu beat her opponent Amriti Thakur by 2-1 while Anju defeated Sunali by 2-1 in semi-final matches played today under Junior Girls category. In Sub-Junior Boys semi-finals, Mahi trounced Abhay Mahajan by 2-1 and Sudansh Verma beat Harshit Ramotra by 2-1 and thus, entered into finals.
In quarter-finals of Junior Boys, Rajesh Daya beat Gourav Sharma by 2-0 and Sahil Magotra defeated Anish by 2-1. In league matches under Senior Boys category, Harshit Ramotra beat Ansh Mahajan by 2-0 and Mahi Kailu defeated Prikshit Bandral by 2-1 while in Senior Girls category, Purvi Sharma trounced Neha Sharma by 2-1, Parul Sharma defeated Shriya Gupta by 2-0 and Lalita beat Diksha by 2-1.
The matches were officiated by Ankit Sharma, Akhil Bandral, Prikshit Khajuria and Sunny Sharma. The championship is being organized under the auspicious of J&K Table Tennis Association and District Table Tennis Association, Udhampur.
