SRINAGAR, Oct 1: A person drowned in river Jhelum in the Baramulla district.
A police spokesman said that Parvaiz Ahmad Khan, son of Mohammad Anwar resident of Mominabad, Batamaloo drowned in river Jehlum near Zahanpora, Boniyar-Baramulla. Efforts are on to retrieve the body from the river.
