JAMMU, Oct 1: Government College for Women Parade in collaboration with Information Department and Centre for Gandhian Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Jammu Monday organized Bhajanwali to mark the Gandhi Jayanti.
Famous artists of Information Department Jeevan Sharma alongwith others and students of Government College Parade recited Bhajans leaving the audience spell bound.
Sushma Chowdhary, retired senior IAS officer, Joint Director of Information, Jammu, Soujanya Sharma, Prof Satinder Singh, Principal Science college, Dr. Hemla Agarwal, Principal, Government College for Women, Parade Jammu, Faculty members and prominent educationists and students attended the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Sushma Chowdhary lauded the artists for presenting such a scintillating Bhajanwali on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, specially by the students of GWC and staff. She appreciated the Information Department for organising such type of programmes in educational Institutions on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti.
