JAMMU, Oct 8: A delegation of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry today met Minister Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga in his office chamber today and discussed with him on various subjects including GST and its impact on industry, issues related to rehabilitation of sick units, ease of doing business and easing out permissions from departments like Forest and Pollution Control Board.
The Minister took note of all the issues raised and expressed his desire to hold group meetings of various associations to discuss GST so as to get more clarity and understanding on the subject and end any sort of ambiguity on the same. Minister suggested the chamber to take active part in the series of discussion and talks on GST.
Rajinder Singh Tara, Director Industries and commerce also took part in the meeting and addressed the issues raised by PHDCCI and its members. The delegation also presented Minister with the group photograph of an earlier Indian Army- Industry Roundtable Conference on Make in India held in the month of May wherein Minister took part in the inaugural session.
The delegation was headed by Vikrant Kuthiala, Chairman PHDCCI Jammu chapter, Kuldeep Gupta, Co-chairman PHDCCI Jammu chapter and Pamil Sharma, Executive officer, PHDCCI, Jammu.
