JAMMU, Oct 12: Twenty three members judo team comprising of 10 boys, 10 girls and 3 officials left today to participate in the Sub Junior National Championship, which will be held at Patna Bihar from October 13 to 16. The team has been selected by J&K State Sports Council.
The boys, who have been selected, are Ujwal Kumar, Arnav Gupta, Ayush Raina, Danish Gupta, Gourav KIumar, Munish Sharma, Varun Sharma, Mohammad Irfan Khan, Aareen Kumar Kotwal and Perteak Bali.
The girls, who have been selected, are Antu Choudhary, Sunakshi Devi, Nirali Sharma, Sakshi Devi, Isha Dhar, Khushi Thakur, Vidushi Dogra, Bindiya Mahajan, Charulata and Anshika Manhas.
Arshi Nad and Jugal Kishore will accompany the team as coaches, while the team manager will be Manish Chatwal Ranjodh.
Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, General Secretary, J&K Judo Association asked the players to exhibit their skills with zeal to bring laurels to the State.
