JAMMU, Oct 12: Three persons including two female today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in city outskirts.
According to police sources, a woman namely Harpreet Kour (30) wife of Mandeep Singh, resident of Deep Nagar (Kunjwani) today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
Similarly, a man identified as Mahadev (55) son of Chulbul, resident of Bilaspur, at present residing in Trikuta Nagar area, also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
In another case, a girl namely Anita (37) daughter of Bishan Nath, resident of Talli Morh (Miran Sahib), consumed some poisonous substance at her home after which she was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
