Two succumb to accident injuries

JAMMU, Oct 13: Two victims of separate road accidents today succumbed to their injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Vishal Kumar (30) son of Hari Nandan, a resident of Bihar, at present residing in Sarore area of Bari Brahmana in Samba district, was shifted here at GMCH on October 11 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap near his temporary residence.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 5 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
Another person identified as Selection Grade Constable Anayat Ullah (40) son of Abdul Majid resident of Wachak Lowang, tehsil Bani, district Kathua, was admitted also in GMCH Jammu after he sustained injuries in a road mishap at Mendhar in Poonch district on September 30. The injured cop expired today at about 4.25 this evening. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem. The Mendhar police had taken cognizance of the matter.
