MTWA’s concern over posting of 15 masters in Valley

JAMMU, Oct 14: Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) has expressed its anguish and serious concern over the order issued by Commissioner Secretary Education asking the 15 teachers promoted as masters recently and who were posted in camp schools at Jammu to report to CEO Anantnag for further posting.
The MTWA, which met here today under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Raina while expressing its surprise over the order said that situation was not conducive for these masters to join their duties in Valley in view of the present turmoil and unrest which even forced the PM package and non package employees to flee from Kashmir.
The meeting in an appeal to Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary Education urged them to post these masters in Relief organization on the same analogy on which the four newly promoted masters were posted last month.
It said moreover the camp schools in Jammu also have shortage of Subject specialist lecturers’ which is a cause of concern as the teachers after their promotions as lecturers are posted in other schools of Jammu Division leaving the camp schools to suffer and putting the future of the displaced students at stake. It demanded that the teachers after promotion be adjusted in different camp schools of Jammu and lecturers already transferred be sent back to camp schools.
It also demanded Government building be provided to Higher Secondary Camp School Bohri and Higher Secondary School Camp Durga Nagar as both these schools are housed in private buildings. It also reiterated its demand regarding computerization of G P Fund accounts.
Vinod Dhar, Bal Ji Marhata, Sushil Razdan and Munu Ji Pandita attended the meeting.
