KPC holds NC responsible for plight of Pandits

NEW DELHI, Oct 16: Making a dig at National Conference (NC) Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) today held it responsible for the plight of Kashmiri Pandits leading an exiled life outside Valley for last 27 years.
In a statement issued here today KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri took serious exception to the statement of former Chief Minister and NC president Dr Farooq Abdullah asking for holding talks with separatist Hurriyat, stone pelters and Pakistan the mastermind of world terrorism.
KPC while condemning the statement of NC Chief to have talks with Hurriyat and Pakistan for everlasting solution of so–called Kashmiri issue, Kashmiri, said that It is strange that Dr Farooq Abdullah, who used to talk about bombarding Pakistan, has now toed the Pak and Hurriyat line.
Addressing the meeting of KPC he said that after being ousted from the power Dr Farooq is talking the language of separatists, who have made Kashmir hostage for the past more than three months to  implement the agenda of Pakistan.
He  said, since the day unrest has broken out in Kashmir NC is trying to project itself as the only alternative to rule J&K. The NC leaders and its activists were directly or indirectly involved  in stone pelting and unrest in the Valley for the last three months  now and they are beating their  chest for youth being arrested and the party is demanding the release of separatists also.
KPC wanted to know why Farooq Abdullah was so patriotic when he ruled the State from 1996 to 2002  and now out of power he is acting like a spokesman of separatists and miscreants, which shows he is among those Kashmiri leaders who  changes his colours like a chameleon.”
Other KPC leaders Tej Pandita, MK Raina, M L Raina, Susheel Bhat, SL Zuthsi, R. Razdan, P.N Mattoo and Surrender Bhat also expressed the same views.
