JKBOA deputation meets J&K Bank Chairman

JAMMU, Oct 17: A deputation of office bearers of Jammu Kashmir Bank Officers’ Association (JKBOA), Jammu unit led by its president, Parbhat Singh Jamwal, met newly appointed Chairman and CEO of the Bank, Parvez Ahmed, here today on the matters concerning bank and its staff members.
During the course of discussions, the general secretary of the Association, Suresh Gupta, besides other issues apprised the chairman about the recent promotion orders issued by the JK Bank from scale 1 to 2, scale 2 to 3 and scale 3 to 4, in which some very deserving candidates were not considered despite they were good performers.
The association requested the chairman to reconsider their promotions as per request already made by All India J&K Bank Officers Federation to recognize their hard work and future career progression.
The chairman assured the delegation that the management will redress the issue at an earliest and re consider the promotions of the deserving candidates across different scales.
The chairman further informed the delegation that management shall ensure that HR problems of the staff are addressed promptly to create congenial atmosphere in the bank for the overall development of the bank.
The president of the association, Parbhat Singh Jamwal, on behalf of the officers of the bank assured the chairman that officers shall leave no stone unturned to raise the level of the institution.
