RAJOURI, Oct 17: A truck loaded with 15 bovine animals was seized and two persons were arrested in this connection by police near Rajouri during early hours today.
A police spokesman said that police party led by SI Farid Ahmed, during naka at Thandi Kassi intercepted truck No. JK02AL/ 7095 and found 15 bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir via Mughal Road. The police seized the truck along with milch animals and arrested two persons in this connection. They were identified as Jamat Ali, son of Sher Ali and Mohd Shabir, son of Mohd Hamid, residents of Miran Sahib in Jammu. A case was registered against them. The truck driver managed to escape from the spot.
