JAMMU, Oct 18: Eight girls of KC Public School took part in the CBSE North Zone II Inter-School Swimming Competition hosted by Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot, Punjab.
Sixty-two CBSE affiliated schools from Zone II participated in this prestigious swimming event.
KCPS girls performed well and won a Bronze medal each in a variety of events.
The team led by swimming coaches Babita Rani and Thakur Singh comprised Diya Khajuria, Samya Vaid, Sanvi Andotra, Yatiksha Tandon, Akshita Mengi, Arya Jalali and Garima Bhat.
In a special assembly held today morning, Principal Amarendra Mishra distributed certificates and medals among the swimmers.
