JAMMU, Oct 19: Team of Udaan held an interactive session about the golden job opportunities provided by them for J&K youth at Gandhi Memorial College of Education Jammu.

Udaan, monitored & supervised by National Skill Development Corporation (a government of India body) is recruiting youth as security executives for which there will be a training period of 6 months and a training stipend of RS. 2500 per month.
National Training Head, Dipanjan while addressing the gathering threw light that how youth should be passionate in order to make their dreams come true. Dipanjan said “our problem is that we are not able to convince ourselves,. As a result we are not able to convince our family while taking decisions about the career”.
Training Head said that our main motto should be job satisfaction rather than monetary benefits. Stating about the state of farmers in our country, he said that rural livelihood mission has offered job opportunities to those educated youth whose generations are getting job for the first time.
With an aim to recruit 900 young males from J&K, Dipanjan said that the Course offers a skill based job oriented training program, after the training period of three months which will start from November, 4 a candidate is eligible for employment across the globe. For availing this opportunity he said that an applicant needs to be a graduate, with minimum height of 5.7 inches and should possess an Aadhaar Card besides having good communication skills.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof H.L Misri, Coordinator Journalism and Mass Communication Department exclaimed Udaan as a metaphoric expression, which urges the youth to have the zeal of achieving the unprecedented goals and success in life. He also emphasized on the importance of this employment opportunity which can adhere the youth and meet their requirements of dependency, and also a GOI led initiative and not by a Private Sector.
