JAMMU, Oct 20: J&K jump rope team has been selected to participate in the 13th Senior Jump Rope National Championship to be held at Patli Putra Stadium, Patna Bihar from October 22 to 26.
The team has been selected by screening committee of J&K State Sports Council including Rajan Sharma, Divisional Sports Officer, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary and Ravi Singh, Sports Officer Jammu. Dr Seema Pawan Manhas, general secretary, J&K Jump Rope Association was also present on the occasion.
The players selected for the championship are Aman Roy, Kuldeep Raj, Sumit Singh Sambyal, Ibrar Khan, Ayush Mankotia and Tarun Gupta. Bawa Ditta will accompany the team as coach.
