POONCH, Oct 21: Pinto Club will take on Manjit Singh Club in the summit clash of the Volleyball Tournament, being organized by 93 Infantry Brigade in collaboration with district unit of the Sports Council under Operation Sadhbhavna at Sports Stadium, here tomorrow.
Earlier in the first semis, Pinto Club defeated LoC Club Jhalian by 3-0 with the set score of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-19, whereas in the second semifinal, Manjit Singh Club registered win over Kalai Club by 3-1 with set score of 25-19, 18-25, 26-24 and 15-13.
On the occasion, Brigadier 93 Infantry Brigade PS Pendharkar was the chief guest, while Lieutenant Colonel CB Balwara, retd SAI Hockey Coach Sham Lal Sharma, Prem Prakash Luthra, Ram Prakash, Narjeet Singh, Incharge DYSSO Poonch and Subedar Sheetal Pun were also present.
The matches were officiated by Neeraj Sharma, VFI Referee, Sourab Sharma, Rajinder Singh, Ram Prakash, TS Toofan and Bal Krishan.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision of Nirdosh Kumar, Incharge Sports Stadium Poonch.
