JAMMU, Oct 26: MHAC Yoga Boys defeated DAV Police Public School, Jalandhar and bagged the winners trophy in the cluster level DAV National Sports Yoga Tournament, organized recently at Dayanand Model School, Jalandhar.
MHAC Yoga Girls bagged 1st runners up trophy. The school won 5 Gold and 5 Silver Medals in this contest. The winning Boys team has been selected for DAV National Sports Zonal Level Tournament. The Boys team comprised Gaurav Singh Katoch (XIB), Divya Sagar (XIC), Baljinder Singh (XF), Pranav Verma (XF) and Karan Pandita (IX C).
The Girls team comprised Sakshi Dubey (XIB), Mansi Sharma (XIC), Navratri Rakwal (IXF), Mrinalini Manhas (IXD) and Jhanvi Sharma (IXE).
More than 100 students from different schools participated in this competition.
