JAMMU, Oct 28: The cueists displayed spectacular skills in the league matches to stay alive in the ongoing State Senior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Championship (JKBSA), at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today.
In the first match, Manat Dingra beat Nuzaf Mohammad by 2-0, whereas in the second match, Stanzin registered win over Aditya Mahajan by 2-1.
Gagandeep Singh thrashed Sanjay Sharma by 2-1 in the third match, whereas in the fourth match, Sabby beat Marshal Dutta by 2-1.
In the fifth match, Mukesh Kapahi registered win over Avish Sharma by 2-1, whereas in the sixth match, Akhil Tandon smashed Burhan Khan by 2-1.
Kanav Nayyar crushed Harjot Singh by 2-0 in the seventh match, whereas in the eighth match, Sanjay Sharma registered win over Mandeep Singh by 2-0.
In the ninth match, Rohit Sharma registered win over Aman Sharma by 2-1, whereas in the tenth match, Adnan Lone crushed Varun Sharma by 2-0.
In the eleventh match, Varun Jamwal outplayed Arvinder Singh by 2-1, whereas in the 12th in Ansh Chopra beat Vipin Malhi by 2-1.
Aditya Sharma registered win over Kush Gupta by 2-0 in the thirteenth match, whereas in fourteenth match, Furkan Wani smashed Saksham Gupta by 2-1.
In the fifteenth match, Nikhil Kohli beat Rahul Dutta by 2-1, whereas in the sixteenth match, Nasir Hassan registered win over Manav Khuranna by 2-0.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok as markers.
