Nanda holds public grievance redressal camp

REASI, Oct 29: Minister of State for Finance and Planning, FCS & CA, IT, Labour and Employment and Relief and Rehabilitation Ajay Nanda today convened a public redressal camp at village Saloon Malair to listen to the grievances of the local people.
The locals raised the issues of their respective areas which were responded by the Minister one by one. Most of the demands were resolved on the spot after talking to the concerned officers, while remaining were noted down for high level interference.
While addressing the gathering, Ajay Nanda reiterated the commitment of the Government providing all basic amenities to the people and creating employment opportunities at their door step. He said the Government is making continuous efforts to help the poor by launching central sponsored schemes.
Later, the Minister held another camp in Tehsil Pouni in which over 60 free LPG    connections were distributed among the genuine beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).
The Minister while distributing the connections, exhorted upon the people to come forward and avail the benefits of the State and Central Sponsored Schemes designed to meet their aspirations. He also appealed the BPL women to come forward and reap the benefits of such schemes especially meant for them.
