JAMMU, Nov 10: Jammu and Kashmir bagged 23 medals with 4 gold, 6 silver and 13 bronze in the 62nd National School Games in the discipline of Sqay Martial Art, organized by School Games Federation of India (SGFI) at Goa recently.
While receiving the victorious players, the Director Youth Services and Sports, Sheikh Fayaz Ahmad honoured them in an impressive function held at Youth Hostel Nagrota.
“We hope the journey of excellence will translate into an odyssey for the overall martial arts picture of Kashmir .I applaud you all for your great efforts to make the state proud. The Department will provide you all opportunities and support to shine at global radar,” stated Director Youth Services and Sports while felicitating the players.
