JAMMU, Nov 11: A labourer from UP is feared has drowned in Ravi river today while he went to take a bath there this afternoon.
According to reports, Ogani, 33, Son of Narangi from Khushi Nagar in UP who was working as a labourer in Lakhanpur area of the district Kathua went on river to take a bath and did not return. His clothes were seen on the bank of river.
It is feared that he might have drowned in the river where deep ditches have been created by digging the soil by sand and stone mafia. The Lakhanpur Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law and has started the search operations.
