RSCC organizes U-17 Cricket Series

UDHAMPUR, Nov 12: Rising Star Cricket Club, Udhampur organized Under-17 boys Cricket Series  at Subhash Stadium, here.
According to the organizers, the motive behind organising the said series is to groom the budding cricketers of Udhampur District for upcoming selection camps for JKCA Under-14 and Under-16 levels.
Ajay Sharma, working committee member JKCA inaugurated the Series. He asked the cricketers to focus on cricket with professional attitude.
The series is being played between two teams namely Rising Star Cricket Club and Lakshaya Cricket academy.
The toss was won by Rising Star Cricket Club, which elected to bat first. The Club scored 176 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 25 overs. Shivansh Sharma remained unbeaten on 74 runs off 71 balls with 12 boundaries, while Rishabh Sharma contributed 34 runs off 39 balls. Avinash Bharti grabbed 2 wickets, while Uday Pratap Singh and Dikshant Kundal from Lakshya Academy claimed one wicket each.
In reply, Lakshya Cricket Academy lost the match by 15 runs. Dikshant Kundal was the highest scorer with 66 runs from 53 balls and hit 12 boundaries, while Sarbjeet Chand chipped in with 23 runs.
Shivansh Sharma of Rising Star Club was declared as man of the match for his innings of 74 runs.
