JAMMU, Nov 12: In an exciting cricket match played between Media XI and Sterlite Cricket Club (SCC) here at Phallain Mandal ground, the former beat the later in 22nd over.
Batting first after winning the toss, SCC led by Mukul scored a good total of173 runs in stipulated 25 overs. Gourav Gupta of SCC hit highest 43 runs off42 balls with 5 fours.
Bharat of Media XI was the wrecker-in-chief, who took 3 wickets in his 3 overs by conceding 16 runs.
Media XI, led by Mir Imran chased the target in 22 overs. Irfan was the top scorer with 78 runs off just 34 balls. He hit four sixes and seven boundaries in his brisk knock.
Mukul and Nitish of SCC took two wickets each in 5 and 4 overs respectively.
Sachin Singh, Manager of Media XI team was the organizer of the match.
